Caswell House Wedding Hannah & Luke
Hannah & Luke’s Summer Wedding at Caswell House
Morning Bridal Preparations at Caswell House
As a Cotswolds wedding photographer, I’m lucky to capture weddings at some of the most beautiful venues in Oxfordshire. Hannah & Luke’s wedding at Caswell House on 24th July 2025 was everything you could want from a summer celebration – heartfelt, elegant, and full of joy. Caswell House, a stunning Brize Norton wedding venue, is the perfect backdrop for a relaxed countryside wedding, with its rustic stone barns, manicured gardens, and the iconic Secret Garden that couples fall in love with.
I arrived at Caswell House at 10 AM and made my way to the bridal suite, where Hannah and her bridesmaids were already getting ready. The atmosphere was calm but filled with excitement, as Sophie Law worked her magic on hair and makeup.
With the morning starting slowly, I took the opportunity to capture some detail shots – Hannah’s beautiful gown from Annabell Sarah Bridal, her bridesmaids’ dresses, and the delicate veil catching the soft light of the Cotswolds stone barn. The dress, expertly fitted by MD Bridal Alterations, hung perfectly and awaited its moment in the spotlight.
Groom Prep and Venue Photography
Luke and his groomsmen were in another part of the venue, keeping things understated and calm. Luke is a reserved guy and preferred a natural, unobtrusive approach, which is exactly my style. I captured a few candid moments before stepping away to photograph Caswell House itself, showcasing its character and charm.
At 1 PM, I returned to Luke for a quick but meaningful moment as his buttonhole was pinned – a small detail, but an important part of their story. Then, back to the bridal suite to capture Hannah stepping into her wedding dress, a perfect fit that made her glow with excitement.
Before guests arrived, I photographed the stunning wedding flowers by Sophie Olivia Floral Design and the exquisite cake by LB Bakes, both of which complemented Caswell House’s rustic elegance beautifully.
Then it was ceremony time. Guests took their seats, Luke waited patiently at the front, and the music began. My lens was focused straight down the aisle, ready to capture the bridesmaids as they made their entrance. Moments later, Hannah appeared with her dad, and I stepped ahead to capture intimate, close-up shots of their walk through the courtyard before running back to photograph Luke’s first look. That priceless tear in his eye said everything.
The ceremony itself was intimate and full of emotion. I moved quietly, capturing the vows, the subtle glances, and the raw happiness of Hannah & Luke finally becoming husband and wife.
An Emotional Caswell House Wedding Ceremony
Canapés, Group Shots & The Secret Garden
Once the newlyweds walked back up the aisle, the celebrations began. Guests spilled out into the sunlit courtyard for champagne and canapés, and I started organising group shots. The family was lively and fun – a little chaotic at times – but we captured those timeless images that I know will end up on grandma’s mantelpiece.
Afterwards, I took Hannah & Luke for a short walk to the Secret Garden at Caswell House. This quiet moment is often my favourite part of the day as a documentary wedding photographer. I gave just a little direction – a kiss here, a hand-in-hand stroll there – and captured their connection in the golden summer light.
Wedding Breakfast, Speeches & Dancing
Once the wedding breakfast began, I downed tools for a quick break to back up all the images, knowing how many special moments we’d already captured. A huge thank you to Hannah & Luke for the delicious chicken from the Caswell House kitchen – it was amazing!
Speeches followed, and as always, I felt privileged to listen. Wedding speeches give such an intimate glimpse into a couple’s story, and capturing the reactions – from laughter to tears – is one of the best parts of my job.
Finally, the evening celebrations kicked off with a fantastic first dance, lit and hosted by Signature Moments Events. Their setup was incredible, and the dance floor quickly filled with guests who really threw themselves into the party. I stayed close to the action, capturing the energy, joy, and movement of the night.
Why I Love Caswell House Weddings
Hannah & Luke’s wedding perfectly showcases why I adore photographing Caswell House weddings. The combination of rustic charm, modern elegance, and that peaceful Cotswolds setting creates the perfect atmosphere for timeless, heartfelt images.
If you’re looking for a Cotswolds wedding photographer for your celebration at Caswell House or any other Brize Norton wedding venue, I’d love to capture your story.
